Pictured is myself and my two amazing children Paisley and Paxton. This was taken on Mother’s Day of 2022 by my always supportive husband Tom. My favorite memory of 2022 was getting married to the love of my life in August. It was amazing. We have a full house with four dogs and two birds.
A little about me is I love photography (I know that's probably a little obvious.) I also love a good iced chia tea latte from Starbucks. I'm obsessed with dachshunds. I have a mini pin/dachshund mix (named Shilo) and a miniature dachshund (named foxy). Our other dogs are Jinx and Echo both mixed breeds.
My interest in photography began in 2016, about a year after I had my daughter. I found my first DSLR on market place and it has been my passion ever since. I started out taking photos of my daughter Paisley and quickly fell in love. I started practicing any chance I got and It became an awesome hobby I loved doing. After having my son Paxton in 2018, I was busier than ever, but still made time to pursue my passion for photography. This is where P&P Photography came in when deciding what to call my business, after my children Paisley and Paxton. They have always been the drive and motivation behind the scenes. Starting off photographing them really made me realize how much I love photography and how they both helped me discover my passion. In 2019 I began taking it more seriously and studying and practicing to get better so that one day I could pursue photography as a career. It’s been a long and difficult journey. Various life challenges and being a mom to two kids left little time for the pursuit of my own aspirations, but I stayed strong, hanging onto this dream and now I have big plans for my future.
I want to document all your special and intimate moments, and to help you to always look back fondly and reminisce on that special nostalgia of days passed. I want capture and preserve those moments in time so that you can always revisit and pass them down for generations to come.
I specialize in candid photography. I love being able to capture the authentic moments between you and your loved ones. Playful interactions, giggles, jokes, and genuine laughs make for the best photos. But don’t let that deter you, I can also prompt poses for your shoot that work well for your personality, outfit, and scenery if that is your preference.
My favorite thing about photography is the ambiguity of a photograph. A photograph will always have more than one meaning or different meanings to different people. They always hold such a mystery that has always fascinated me.
